All You Need Is Love

This vintage 1950s avocado green "train case" exudes nostalgic charm with its rich tapestry of Beatles imagery. Adorned with illustrations that reference iconic songs, it offers a whimsical yet artistic tribute to the band’s legacy. 

Bold towering flowers depicting “flowers that grow so incredibly high” bloom vibrantly across the design, while a radiant sun beams down from “Here Comes the Sun.”

The famous red Les Paul guitar, gifted to the George Harrison by Eric Clapton, that was later named “Lucy”,  and was then played by  Clapton  on “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” takes  stage right,  beneath sparkling diamonds to symbolize “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”, while A “Blackbird” is perched  on the body of the guitar which is embellished with a single tear.

The playful figures of an egg man and a walrus nod to “I Am the Walrus,” while a yellow submarine cruises across, capturing the surreal spirit of “Yellow Submarine.” At the bottom we see a retro car, bearing a license plate that reads “BABY,” references “Baby, You Can Drive My Car,” beneath a charming octopus who swims playfully, reflecting the peaceful vibes of “Octopus’s Garden. Smaller details of a heart beneath a marching band, commemorates “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.” Sporadic, bright red strawberries scattered throughout pay tribute to “Strawberry Fields Forever,” completing this imaginative celebration of Beatles’ songs.

This one of a kind piece of functional artwork, pays tribute not only to the Beatles’ iconic music but also to the artist’s personal connection to their legacy, having been named after their song 'Michelle"—a heartfelt homage to the inspiration that began with her name.
